Styrofoam – Poem

Styrofoam

round, bumps

brittle thoughts

empty blankness

endless jaunts

finding hope in the smallest corners

invisible meaning

invisible purpose

empty and alone I break

crackle at the slightest touch

loud escaping madness

I am the shards of touch.

When you ignore me

defy my existence

I find the breathe in my lungs to be meaningless

Stamp the approval of nothingness

Forge the knowledge into steel

I know I am nothing

I know I am empty

You have crushed me, forgotten me, hid from me

I am withering, losing and dead.
