Jealous

I’m not one to incorporate this ’emotion’ into my life. What is is, and I’m never much for wanting what other people have, mainly because if I ‘really’ want it, I’ll get it somehow. I guess.

Being depressed reduces the number of things you really want, so I’m ok in that area.

But it’s Mother’s Day. My mom doesn’t celebrate, so we don’t do anything big.

But, this holiday isn’t for me. I can’t have children. I’m in no financial, emotional, mental condition to adopt or foster parent. So, when I see all the Mother’s Day well wishes and babies and such. I get depressed.

  1. If you feel that you are in no financial, emotional or mental condition to adopt a child have you ever thought of getting a pet?
My parents have always had animals in the house but when our last German Shepard, Rusty, died we didn’t end up getting another dog for 2 years. Finally my mum and I went to ‘The Lost Dogs Home’ and adopted a Terrier cross, Nudge.
Having a dog, cat, bird or even a fish to look after, could maybe fill that whole you feel depressed about. xo

    1. I have a wonderful dog. Chianna. She helps a lot. But I figure she will be my last dog. It’s not fair to her when she needs to be walked etc. and I just don’t have it in me. It’s a bitter and happy place to be… But at least I have her now. đŸ™‚
