Laugh in my face…

Laugh in my face

Settling down into something forgotten
Past experiences
Unwanted desires
Rejected advances

Find me something real
Discover a new skin
Peel away the pain and partake of relief

Scratched and scorn
Tired and maimed
childless and alone

Describe yourself to me
Tell me your deepest dream
Divulge your secrets
I will never tell

laugh in my face old friend
take it in for what it’s worth
live and breath the moment

Cause you’ll never see this face…
Again.

  1. Very reflective of your friendship post… I am a rather “inconsistent” person but for the times that I am there, you can count me as a friend, for the times I am not, you can count me to be back again…
